Tyler Grandjean
Environmental Scientist
Ms. Grandjean serves as an environmental scientist for ECCI on projects in the water division. With a strong background in laboratory and field water quality monitoring, some relevant tasks include; collection of water & soil data for scientific analysis and records, evaluating site specific environmental conditions, and generating reports. She has a good understanding of laboratory procedures which helps in the understanding of facility operations and remediation.
Ms. Grandjean’s current responsibilities include the completion of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans (SPCCP), and filing Notices of Intent (NOI) within the scope of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and associated state environmental regulations. She also completes Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) reports adhering to state and EPA guidelines. Ms. Grandjean’s research skills in biologic field collection techniques and data interpretation, combined with field training and GIS coursework, allow her to provide guidance to her clients to ensure compliance with their various environmental permits and plans.
Ms. Grandjean’s communication and organization skills are utilized for field operations and addressing plans and permit compliance with clients. Ms. Grandjean is skilled in utilizing field equipment for analyzing water quality parameters such as; Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Temperature and Conductivity, as well as maintaining detailed records.
A passionate animal lover, Tyler is a devoted dog mom to two German Shepherds, Doger and Ketchi, and cares for a ball python and two geckos. Engaged to Justin Solis, a talented tattoo artist and business owner, they raise their two sons, August and Dexter together. Tyler loves the outdoors, frequently camping, kayaking, or hiking on weekends. When not traveling, she and her fiancé enjoy concerts, local cuisine, or experimenting with new recipes. With a highly creative spirit, Tyler excels in painting and drawing, having won awards in state and national art competitions.
